Balance
Balance is the placement of subjects in a photo so that the distribution is aesthetically pleasing.
Symmetrical balance can happen when a subject is perfectly centered. It also happens when there is a mirror image.
Asymmetrical balance is when the subject is off-centered or there are an odd or mismatched number of objects. Asymmetrical does not necessarily mean un-balanced; it often looks nicer than symmetrical.
Radial balance is where you're dealing with a round subject and is has lines coming from the center and going out all around it.
